The available 252-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged option generates 260 lb-ft of torque, a better option for drivers who will be doing a lot of towing.

Stop/start engine technology, standard on every Chevy Equinox, shuts the engine down when you come to a stop under certain conditions, like a stoplight. When you take your foot off the brake, the engine will seamlessly restart. This feature can save some fuel you’d be using when idling, and yes, it makes a difference!
