Free Tire Repair Service
FREE TIRE REPAIR SERVICE IN NOVI, MI
At Feldman Chevrolet of Novi, we don’t think life’s little accidents should slow anyone down. This is why we offer a free tire repair - fix a flat service. When you buy your tires with us and have them installed at time of purchase by one of our certified technicians, we will fix or replace your flat tire for free.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
This free tire service begins with our certified technicians taking and inspecting your tire that’s flat or going flat. All of our technicians are factory trained with ample experience to quickly find the puncture and determine if it can be repaired or needs to be replaced. When it just needs to be repaired, the soap we use to find the problem area shows where the air is coming from. Then, they use a tire patch to seal the opening to prevent more air from coming out, making the tire usable again. We then take another look at the tire pressure of all the tires, make sure they’re up to factory standards and send you back on your way. Tires going flat is also known as leaking. Leaking is used because it’s not always a sudden blowout. Often times it can be slow and steady without the driver even realizing it until it’s too late.

HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?
- Nails: nails that you don’t even notice you drive over can leave tiny punctures in your tires. Over time the holes get worse and can let air slowly but surely leak out
- Bead damage: a bead damage is essentially a piece of debris in between your tire and rim.
- Hitting a curb: can also cause your rim to bend or tires to shift in a way that causes air to leak
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR TIRE IS LEAKING?
It’s not always the most obvious thing and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. But whenever your tire pressure light comes on, although super easy to ignore, it’s best to bring in your car for our professionals to give a quick look over - especially if you’ve recently bumped into something or ran over some debris on the road.
