One of the draws to the 2024 Suburban is its staunch performance. Under the hood, you’ll see one of three engines:
- 5.3L V8 engine: produces up to 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
- 6.2L V8 engine: produces up to 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
- 3.0L Duramax® Turbo Diesel engine: produces up to 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
When properly equipped, the Suburban offers a max trailering capacity of 8,300 lbs. If you’re planning to go off the beaten path, the available Magnetic Ride Control feature keeps you running smoothly. The available, first-in-class Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, featured on the Z71 and High Country trims, can adjust the suspension to different road conditions.
