2019 Chevy Malibu Review

The design of the Chevy Malibu has been updated for 2019. The redesigned front grille is deeper and boasts the Chevrolet bowtie emblem flanked by chrome accents for a more modern look. Upgraded lines also sculpt a sharper frame around the headlights. <p></p> In addition to the design upgrades, Chevrolet also added a new sporty trim option to the 2019 Malibu lineup. When you step inside the 2019 Malibu, you'll find the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System controlled by a standard 8-inch color touchscreen display. Compatible smartphones can connect to the infotainment system via Bluetooth® audio streaming, Apple CarPlay&#8482;, or Android Auto&#8482; capability. <p></p> A slot in the center console provides the perfect place to store your cell phone while you drive–no more taking up cupholder space to hold your phone. This information center is also reconfigurable, so you can choose to display the information that's most important to you.

Choose from two turbocharged engines in the 2019 Chevy Malibu to get the balance of power and efficiency you prefer. The 1.5L ECOTEC® engine features a continuously variable transmission and stop/start technology to give you 160 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 29 MPG city/36 MPG highway. <p></p> For up to 250 horsepower, upgrade to the 2.0L ECOTEC® engine. This engine, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, provides an EPA-estimated 22 MPG city/32 MPG highway. <p></p> Of course, the Chevrolet Malibu also comes with a hybrid option for superior fuel economy. You can get an EPA-estimated 49 MPG city/43 MPG highway from the 2019 hybrid model.
