The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 offers nine customizable trim levels, including options for cab type and bed size. Lower trim levels feature design and functional elements like various sizes of available assist steps, daytime running lamps, tailgate and bed rail protection caps, and a spare tire carrier lock. Mid-level trims include body-color door handles, deep-tinted glass, heated power outside mirrors, and a tailgate with EZ Lift assistance, power lock, and release. The final engine option is a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine that offers much more powerful 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque with an automatic 10-speed transmission.

All trim levels come with either a rear-wheel drive or four-wheel-drive drivetrain options. You may also enjoy advanced performance assistance technology, such as StabiliTrak in all trims, which is an electronic stability control system with traction control. This system helps drivers maintain more road control during various terrain and weather conditions. You can also choose the available automatic locking rear differential for mid and upper-level trims. When this differential senses a significant difference in wheel speed, it locks to turn both rear wheels concurrently for added traction.
