As the Trax is a responsive and agile vehicle, it makes it easy to take on city streets and the highway, too. Front-wheel drive with Electronic Traction Control comes standard, but the available all-wheel-drive functionality is offered on every trim.

The all-wheel-drive system will engage automatically when you’re accelerating from a standing start. However, the system will shift back to front-wheel drive when no more wheel slip is detected. This means gas savings for you since the all-wheel-drive system doesn’t have to be activated at all times.
